Sharps Collection Kit

The safe solution for handling, transport and disposal of high risk sharp items waste.

Contains:

• 2 pair Nitrile Gloves
• 1 pair “Black Night” Gripmaster Gloves
• 2 ea Opti Safe 700ml Sharps Containers
• 1 ea Ergonomic Handle: reuseable
• 1 ea collection ‘pick up’ Tong – black
• 2 ea PAWS Antimicrobial Wipe
• 2 ea Clinical Waste Bag
• 2 ea Cable Tie
• 3 x Instruction Sheets

How to:

• Always wear protective clothing, including gloves
• Assemble the 700ml sharps container QSopt 0.7
• Fit the QSopt 0.7 to the Ergonomic Handle
• Use the black Collection Tongs to pick up sharp items
• Carefully deposit the sharp items into the Opti Safe sharp container – Never deposit syringes with the needle pointing upwards
• When full, lock the sharps container – ready for disposal
• Place the black Tongs into the Clinical Waste Bag
• Remove protective clothing & place into the clinical Waste Bag
• Clean hands with PAWS Antimicrobial Hand Wipe
• Dispose of all waste in accordance with State EPA Regulations
